Exciting, Athletic Point Guard!

Joe Meehan was one of the hardest players in our league to prepare for year in and year out. He is so quick and strong with the ball that no matter how you guard him he can get to any spot on the floor to create for himself and his teammates! He has improved his game every season and having the chance to coach him last summer in Europe I could see why. He is extremely focused and a hard worker, he cares about his teammates and most of all…winning! Any team that is fortunate to have Joe will have a great player and a winner!

2011 highlight tape

minute 1-30 is gametape

minute 30-33 is exciting plays and dunks!

Through my coaching career at Reading High School and Alvernia University I coached against some great point guards. Joe Meehan is the best pure point guard as far as leadership and controlling the tempo of the game. He is not about individual stats but his team usually wins.

“I am happy he is gone! [from our conference] Joe was always a challenge to game plan against. He could do so many things on the court that there was never one or two areas to take away. With his work ethic and skill set, he has the potential for a bright future in basketball.”—Coach Rick Ferry- Albright College
